1.Participants will have awareness of aspects of Ohio Law in the professional ethics code through review of code and ethics terminology generally and specific to “S” designation for training supervision focused on developing proficiency of professionals gaining an independent license to practice.
2. Participants will understand the practice of training supervision and be able to articulate elements of the training supervision rule as it applies to practice as defined by 4357-23-01 and 4757-3-01 of the OCSWMFTB Code of Ethics.
3.Participants will understand and be able to articulate the elements developing proficiency through specific practice in Trauma and use of Trauma Sensitive and Trauma Informed Care as an example of approach to frame practice and which provides a lens through which to identify proficiency as defined by the profession which could be developed by the supervisor and the trainee to improve services to clients.
4. Participants will practice developing a professional development plan for self and with trainee in trauma area to provide effective training supervision to enhance proficiencies .
