Social Workers are increasingly facing challenging and complex cases and with that come stress-- physical, mental, and emotional. It is important for mental health professionals to understand the impact of stress and learn ways to deal with stress in order to maintain a healthy life balance and productivity in work. Professionals will learn specific techniques to manage stress and anxiety. This course will support social workers and supervisors in identifying and dealing with stress, which will help them maintain their workloads. In addition, social workers could also share information (when appropriate) learned on managing stress with others.
