In this highly experiential virtual course you'll learn the evidence-based Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also called Tapping. Mental Health professionals use EFT with their clients to address stress, anxiety and trauma relief. Now you can get in on this brain/based technique that is easy to learn, works automatically and quickly. 
 
Expect to interact more in the second half of the course where we will practice Tapping for your personal stressors.  The goal is for you to feel confident to use EFT allowing you to maintain emotional balance. When you show up in life with a calm centeredness, you maturely and appropriately respond to situations instead of over-reacting out of stress and fear. It’s so easy to learn that you can pass it on to others. 

Complete this Course to:

  • Describe the mind-body connection as it relates to stress/anxiety.
  • Articulate how unconscious emotional past events. influence how we approach life situations and relate to others to create stress 
  • Practice stress relief using Functional EFT (new name).

Social Workers are increasingly facing challenging and complex cases and with that come stress-- physical, mental, and emotional. It is important for mental health professionals to understand the impact of stress and learn ways to deal with stress in order to maintain a healthy life balance and productivity in work. Professionals will learn specific techniques to manage stress and anxiety. This course will support social workers and supervisors in identifying and dealing with stress, which will help them maintain their workloads. In addition, social workers could also share information (when appropriate) learned on managing stress with others.

Meet Tijana Coso, BA, MA, Certified EFT

Using Emotional Freedom (EFT) Technique, Tijana offers virtual and live experiential programs for staff development, continuing education, and leadership retreats. Her EFT expertise is also utilized to assist with trauma informed care, secondary trauma, unconscious bias and with those battling addictions. Her corporate work addresses unconscious bias as it relates to successful work teams, attitude and managing people.
 
Tijana is only one of a few EFT teachers who nationally train EFT for continuing education courses for mental health workers, foster parents, nurses, teachers, and other “caring” professionals.
 
Tijana is a regular NASW trainer; visiting trainer at the Gestalt Institute OH, MA; instructs both caregivers and caseworkers on EFT for the Ohio Child Welfare System and other agencies. She is also an Ohio Department of Education Approved Trainer, Drug and Alcohol Boards Trainer and educates teachers about EFT for SEL
