Parents answer 7 what-would-you-do-in-this-situation questions and the instructor uses standardized criteria to assess the parent's skill level on a scale from 1-11 in 11 different parenting skill areas:

2. Encouragement, independence (teaching skills)
3. Unintentional misbehavior, independence (balancing freedom and responsibility)
