Pew Research survey,
most parents are not satisfied with their children’s online or hybrid instruction. (Only 30% of parents whose children are getting online instruction and only 27% of those whose children are in hybrid learning situations).
So that means most students are learning virtually, but very few parents are trained teachers who know how to help their children learn online. The challenges range from not understanding what their children are learning well enough to support their children, to juggling a ridiculous number of “hats,” like working full time, from home, with other children to supervise, and trying to help students.
