Harriet Heath, Ph.D., is a licensed developmental psychologist, parent educator, mother of three and grandmother of eight. She is the founder and director emeritus of the Parent Center at Bryn Mawr College and a visiting faculty member at DePaul University. Her parenting program, Parenting Creatively, aims to help parents feel more confident about the decisions they are making and more competent in carrying them out by focusing on the parents’ values and beliefs and providing the information and skills they need. She has worked with parents from many walks of life whose children ranged in age from newborn to young adulthood. She is currently facilitating virtual parents groups and consulting with the Women’s Health Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton MA to develop a more extensive post-partum parental support program.
