Development or Trauma? How to Know the Difference and Identify The Triggers That Started It

Trauma can affect a child's behavior in many ways. It can be confusing at times to know what’s causing behavior like acting out or throwing a tantrum. After attending this session, you’ll understand:
  • what trauma is,
  • how it affects the bodies and minds of children,
  • how to identify the triggers that start unexpected behavior.
You’ll also get helpful information on identifying the difference between behavioral acts and traumatic responses, so you can support your children as they navigate their way through healing from traumatic events.

Meet Jennifer Zier, A.C.H., M.H.

Jennifer holds several Advanced Clinical degrees in several therapeutic modalities and has taught children stress reduction techniques such as meditation, visualization, test anxiety, NLP, EFT, The Sedona Method  and more. She is also a mother and step-mother who has personally experienced stressful custody, visitation, and transition issues. So she has quite a toolkit to share with other parents who want to help their children learn self-regulation skills.
